Follow these steps to achieve a flawless, salon-quality manicure at home that stays secure and looks natural.
1. Preparation (The Secret to Longevity)
- Cleanse: Wash your hands thoroughly with oil-free soap.
- Prep Cuticles: Use the included wooden stick to gently push back your cuticles. This creates more surface area for the nail to bond.
- Buff: Lightly buff the surface of your natural nails with a nail buffer to remove the shine. A slightly textured surface helps the adhesive grip better.
- Dehydrate: Use an alcohol prep pad to wipe each nail. This removes any natural oils that could cause the nails to pop off early.
2. Application
- Size Match: Choose the press-on size that best fits each of your nails. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller one or file the edges of the larger one for a custom fit.
- Glue Placement: Apply a small drop of glue to both your natural nail and the back of the press-on nail.
- Apply at an Angle: Align the press-on with your cuticle at a 45-degree angle. Slowly lower it and press down firmly.
